Adding additional gauges (how to please)
amp gauges are fire hazard a voltage gauge is alot more sensible, this idicates quite happly when battery is being charged (greater than 12volts normaly around 14) and when its being discharged faster than being charged (less than 12 volts). for switches try here have good selection http://www.holden.co.uk/displayAgroups.asp?sg=1&pgCode=020&sgName=Electrical&pgName=Switches. as for if mini speedo will work it may but there are many variable. firstly there is about 5 differnt speedo ratios for minis ie cable turns per mph. later ones are standard tho but will be simular to metro in style. anouther variable is speedo gears in gearbox. anouther variable is tire/wheel circumfrence. it will most likly take a bit of trial and improvement. ur engine and gearbox will be A+ all metros are ur speedo gears and diff ratio will most likly be 3.44 16 green DAM2905 6 none 2A3720 also differnt speedos have differnt ends ones used on minis with A+ are differnt to central speedo ones on early minis.

Speedo drives
Hi All,
I have a Rio 93 1275 but with an 80's centre speedo with a TPM of 1208.
Being that I m running on 175 x 50 x 13's the speedo is out by just over 10%. Running my stats through the following Guessworks calculator, the speedo readings versus the satnav readings all seem to show what I am experiencing.
It indicates that I am running on 7/17 drive and need a 6/16 drive. Guessworks imply that the 6/16 parts are difficult to find. Are these the 2 parts I need on the Minispares website?

Any advice appreciated
Cheers
Andrew
