This new type suspension cone tool for removing or refitting the rubber suspension cone is METRIC thread only and improved by using a hex(allen)key to screw in and hold the centre spindle. There cannot be many cars left out there with the AF type thread suspension cones as they can need changing after 5-7 years in really hot climates but at least every ten years or 20,000 miles as they do start to sag and go off. After initial settling any noticable dropping over time means they have gone off. Miglia Race cars are lucky to get a full race season out of them without a deteriation in performance. A very important part of your working suspension hence the production our competition cones
C-STR687. Must not be used with an air gun.
Metric suspension cone units replaced UNF thread type in March 1976
