Weslake patents metal rocker cover plate,as fitted to Mk1/2 rocker covers.
the plate covers engine patents on Austin, Morris and 2 for Weslake where protecting their patents from 1943 and 1948 on improvement on combustion chambers for internal combustion engines and induction system hence covering head chamber design such as the original combustion chambers on their heart design including 12G295-998cc cylinder AEG163 cooper S head but they appeared on all Mk1/2 models such as the 997cc cooper and of course S versions.
The original heart design combustion chamber used on A35 and Morris Minor was coverd by Weslake patent.
The other patent numbers cover Morris Motors and Austin Motor Company from 1944 to 1959 covering improvements to the power plant inernals and improvements to motor vehicle engine mountings.
