Fits round tunnel cars. Approximate location of the vertical, forward wall is 17.5 - 17.75 inches back from the crease in the floor where the floor bends upward under the pedals. The forward wall lines up just forward of the front portion of the external jacking point in the sill. This crossmember fitted
all minis 1960 on until the introduction of the square type tunnel which housed the rod change linkage. The square tunnel appeared with Rod change gearshift from about 1972/3 but was not fitted to the van or pick-up until 1976.
Minis in 1959 had a slightly different ends as the sills were different and the jacking point was welded in a different way(stronger)
