Originally fitted to A series cars such as A40 Farina, many straight elbow type were fitted to Minis when the the angled type was not availble. The straight type will fit nearly every 1275cc engine but check for clearance on some 998cc if not using the original metal rocker cover. Does not use the original
53K1016 screw to hold the cable but needs a choke cable type trunnion such as
AUE34. These are now off the original tooling and much better quality than the cheaper items available elsewhere.
