On production cars a chrome over brass grille
24A2158CHROME was fitted to many pre 1965 models. The grille "without" the lower outward slanted bottom slats 1966 onwards in chrome is available as
24A152. This lower slat was changed from a pointed type in late 1965 and fitted from Jan 1966 on to most cars.
July 1966 the chrome grille was replaced by stainless steel on BMC drawings but variations and spare parts have been proven to vary. ie..24A2158 BMC boxed versions sold on "fleebay" or at early shows or on some original cars have varied. Made in the UK
