Some advertise the 2A13 cam followers as heavy duty but these are just a budget flat bottomed type for low performance or standard use only.
Never replace a camshaft without installing new cam followers and using 2A13EVO or original alternative is advised and always use a coating of EP90 or cam lube. The follower base is very complex and contrary to popular belief the surface should not be flat, but a convex dome so that it rotates as it goes up and down. This is the standard chilled iron follower less an oil hole and weighs about 45.00 grams.
