64 Morris Van
Hi, I am restoring a 64 Morris mini Van-it was well butchered when I found it with flat steel floors. My question relates to the proper location of the battery and of the spare wheel/jack. Any photo would be worth 1,000 words ....

How well is your project doing?
I purchased my van a month ago and replaced the complete floor hell board rear subframe and fitted a turbo bulkhead box and much more. purchase a used metro turbo motor rebult it inc gas flow lead free conversion rings shells etc. I have molded in wheel arches and painted in primer most of the van and expect to be on the road in 2-3 weeks. Next job is my Feb 1960 MK1 which needs a fair bit of love and care (like the wife) I was expecting to get my van on 4 wheels this weekend with the motor running but minispares have let me down it will be atleast 8 days by the time my spares come from when they were orderd (not good enough) I have the motor running but its not in the van just on the garage floor (Friday 26th November) 3rd Dec I had the motor running but there was a bit of oil smoke so I striped it and had it rebored the pistons were ordered from minispares which I got promptley,I got it rebored and the motor will be in this Sunday if all goes well 7th Dec I got the motor in on Sunday and got it running there isnt much room in the standard van for an engine of any kind never mind a 1275 turbo motor. But I think I will have it in gear by Sunday PM, there are pipes and cables all over the place at the moment but I have plenty oil presure its water tight and the turbo is all plumbed in an I have plenty boost. My van is in for an MOT this afternoon Friday 17th I have done 25 miles in it and its going well. Failed Mot for a few miner things but passed today Monday I m on the road with free road tax and 1310cc turbo mini van yipeeeeeeeeee. Got the van running spot on yesterday I had a problem boosting over 5psi but I changed the coil and ht leads now it is amazing boosts to 10psi and flys 115mph no problem.

HELP!!! BRAKE PROBLEMS
PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP, I AM REBUILDING A MINI VAN (1965) AND THE BRAKES ARE DRIVING ME MAD.
I HAVE REPLACED EVERY SINGLE PART IN THE SINGLE CIRCUIT SYSTEM, WITH PROPER PARTS AND THEY ARE FITTED CORRECTLY.
THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN THE BRAKES ARE BLED THE PEDAL TRAVELS NEARLY TO THE FLOOR BRFORE THERE IS PRESSURE TO MAKE THE BRAKES WORK.
I HAVE BLED THE BRAKES THE NORMAL WAY AND WITH AN AIR PRESSURE BLEEDER.
IF YOU DISCONNECT THE FRONT BRAKES THE PEDAL GOES FIRM AND THE REARS WORK PERFECT, IF YOU JUST DISCONNECT THE REARS THE FRONTS WORK WELL BUT CONNECT THEM TOGETHER AND THEIR BLOODY USELESS!!!!
ALL SHOES ARE ADJUSTED CORRECTLY, ALL DRUMS ARE NEW, EVERYTHING IS NEW IT JUST SEEMS THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER IS NOT PRODUCING ENOUGH PRESSEURE.
IS THERE A SPECIAL WAY TO BLEED THE BRAKES?
