Previous rocker spacer kits offered by various A-series specialists have largely contained just three spacers in various forms and materials. They all had one thing in common though – they were inadequate. C-STN17 - MINI SPARES STAGE ONE KIT (998cc only)

Beware: Instructions must be read carefully.

Although the 998/1300 stage one kits are bolt on parts easily fitted by any person with mechanical knowledge, the following must be understood.

C-AHT772 (3.75”, C-AHT773 (5”), C-AHT774 (6”) WEBER INLET MANIFOLD KIT

Build the manifold up before fitting to the car. The two spherical ended joints screw into the inlet manifold using the flat washers and nuts to lock them into place. The 5/16” rod is a tight fit into the two joints and care must be taken when fitting. The two linkage brackets fit either end of the 5/16” rod outside of the spherical joints using the 5mm nut and bolt to secure. Fit the small rose joints either end of the threaded rod and fit to the throttle linkage on the side required for the Weber carb being used. The 5” metal bar fits in a vertical position to the manifold, secured on the original manifold studs when fitting to the engine.

Check for clearance on chain all round and align gears as per workshop manual, When using “A” plus timing covers there is a small round pressing at the bottom which needs making flat to allow timing chain clearance.

C-AJJ4023 4 POT ALLOY CALIPER CONVERSION KIT

These calipers are intended for use on 10”wheels with 7.5”diameter solid brake discs.

The kit contains:-

2 calipers, one right and one left hand. Please ensure that they are installed correctly with the bleed screws in the vertical position (i.e. at the top)

C-AEA538 POLY V BELT DRIVE KIT

C-AEA538 kit contains pulleys for the crankshaft, water pump and dynamo or alternator.

The dynamo/alternator pulley has a 15mm hole size and will not fit later cars from 1985 on which have a 22mm size alternator shaft unless enlarged by an engineering company. Please beware that if prolonged speeds of 100mph are envisaged the engine may run lean and could eventually lead to engine failure.
