Central clock's light wiring
Easyer done than said: behind the clock you find 3 wires:
1. black: ground
2. purple: fused live feed
3. green: feeds the light bulb
this third one is the one you re looking for.
You can access through the radio hole.
Behind the clock you ll find a threaded bar which is bolted to a support with a very little nut of 7mm metric (I ve no imperial spanners and I ll have to get them)
It is a work of patient but you ll manage to set the clock free.
Now, the green wire fits onto a male plug which is the base of the bulb holder, just pull it off and you ll have access to the bulb.
Unfortunately I could not find any bulb like that so I arranged a tiny 13 v light buyed in a electronic stuff shop.
This light comes with the two wires (live/ground) fixed in it so I had to:
split the black ground wire (from 1 female to 2 females: one for the clock and one for the light);
fit two male pins at the end of the two light wires and connect them w/ 1 splitted ground and the original green wire;
put the tiny light into the old bulb case, close it w/ the old bulb holder (which male pin remains without contact).
then reconnected the purple wire and the 2nd splitted ground to feed the clock.
Finally reassemble the clock into the dashboard (as they say: reverse of disassembly).
Sorry for having no photos of that, and hope I ve helped!
Ciao
